{"id":850,"date":"2024-11-15T13:54:29","date_gmt":"2024-11-15T13:54:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/whateuropedreamsabout.com\/en\/?p=850"},"modified":"2024-11-15T21:41:28","modified_gmt":"2024-11-15T21:41:28","slug":"festival-of-european-drama-fed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/whateuropedreamsabout.com\/en\/blog\/2024\/11\/15\/festival-of-european-drama-fed\/","title":{"rendered":"Festival of European Drama &#8211; FED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8220;What are you dreaming about &#8211; between a dialogue and monologue in contemporary European drama&#8221;<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>18 &#8211; 21.11.2024.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><em>Festival of European Drama &#8211; FED presents seven contemporary, multiple award-winning playwrights from the Czech Republic, Portugal, Belgium, Sweden, Romania, Norway and Cyprus<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Festival of European Drama &#8211; FED under the slogan &#8220;What are you dreaming about &#8211; between a dialogue and monologue in contemporary European drama&#8221; will be held from November 18th to 21st in the Belgrade Drama Theater, organized by the Belgrade Drama Theater, the Silver Tree and Tre\u0107i Trg associations.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">During the festival, seven plays written in less-used European languages \u200b\u200bwill be presented: Czech, Portuguese, Dutch, Greek, Swedish, Romanian and Norwegian.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The festival will open on November 18th with the premiere of the play &#8220;AQUABELLES&#8221; by the Czech author David Drabek, directed by Dina Radoman, while from November 19th to 21st, there will be six public readings of plays by the most prominent and highly awarded contemporary European playwrights who will be guests of the festival and who will take part in the conversations after the readings.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">What do we dream about? Are dreams the fulfillment of wishes or another, parallel reality? Do they haunt, inspire or motivate us? How do they move us? After the reading, discussions with the authors will be held, moderated by Vesna Peri\u0107.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">All programs will be held on the Small Stage &#8220;Predrag Pepi Lakovi\u0107&#8221; beginning at 19:00 and 20:30. Admission to public readings is free.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Plays were published by Silver Tree and Tre\u0107i Trg as part of the WEDA &#8211; What Europe Dreams About project, as well as Paper Stage edition.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Reruns of the play &#8220;Aquabelles&#8221;
